Why Present at SGC?

Shawnee Game Conference is the longest-running academic gaming conference in the Midwest! We aim to educate, inspire, and grow the gaming community throughout Ohio and beyond. We are looking for amazing speakers who align with that vision and are masters of their craft.

If you are a veteran in your space and seek to enlighten others please submit your proposal to the SGC Committee.

Submissions after this deadline may or may not be considered.

 
 
 

Speaker Benefits

All session speakers will be allocated between 30 - 60 minutes for their session. Any Q&A time with the audience must be held inside the time block or held outside the session space.

Approval Process 

  1. The SGC Committee will review your submitted proposal.

  2. Applicants will be notified if accepted, declined, or pending with conditions.

  3. Proposals with conditions will be reviewed again by the SGC Committee.

  4. Speakers will be notified of a confirmed or denied status.
